Warlock's Eldritch Blast?

I don't agree with that. There are two types of touch attacks, ranged and melee.

But Touch spells have a range of touch. Spells that allow a ranged touch attack have a range greater than touch, and thus are not Touch spells.

Correct Hyp, It was a typo, I will correct.

Fortunatly the corollary remains. 'Touch spells' are a defined term meaning spells whose effects are delivered by touch attacks. Touch attacks are either Melee or Ranged.

So my conclusion holds true. Ranged Touch attacks do not draw an attack of opportunity. They can also be held if the attack misses.

Touch spells are delivered by touch attacks. But not all spells delivered by touch attacks are touch spells.

Touch spells are only those spells that have a range of Touch.

A spell whose effect is delivered by a ranged touch attack cannot be a Touch spell.

What Hyp' said (and myself a while ago).

Touch spells are only melee touch spells, because they are defined over the range (touch).
