Warriors and Warlocks (Sword and Ink gaming)

Been reading way too many fantasy comics these days and I'm really getting the urge to run a comic-book style campaign.

What I'm wondering M&M players is, how close to the comic-book feel does Warriors and Warlocks come? Also, is the battle close to an action = a panel archetype?

Comic-booky action? Yep. People get hit, things hurt (or don't) depending upon luck, toughness of character (including armor) and what's hitting them. Skill matters. Being a shirtless barbarian is perfectly viable. Tactics matter, but not too much. Lots of the game is narrative. Nameless mooks fall by the dozen. Low super-human is genuinely super-human, able to deal with situations in ways that real people can't; which is about right.

Just how much of a panel is filled by one action is really up to how the players (GM included) describe things.

Good luck.
