It paints all the mentioned hobbies that way. I don't think the furry fans were singled out. Not that that's saying much; the whole thing is pretty asinine. It looks like it was written by someone who never got past the jr. high locker room mentality.

You know what? I fulfilled anywhere from 5 to 8 of those hobbies, depending on how stringent or lenient you might like to be in the qualifications for each, and you know something?

I thought it was frickin' hilarious.

Which was its point.

"Oh no! Furries were painted with a misleading brush!"

Lighten up. As someone who recognizes the name and could name the characters created by individuals such as Schwartz, Bernal, Blackrabbit, and more, I found myself laughing outloud throughout most of it.

Take into consideration that someone writing an article like that is also likely to be someone familiar with, and who participates in, at least some of those hobbies.

It's a joke people. It's not meant to be taken seriously.
