weapon master ki damage ability

in the book it says the weapon master can use his max damage ability once per level per day. is that once per level or once per weapon master level?

Tell him that it is reasonable that a level 10 Weapon master would be better at this ability then a level 4 Weapon master.

i'm saying he can only use it 10 times because he's a level 10 weaponmaster/5 fighter

You are; it's down in writing somewhere that unless it's specifically "character level," it's always class level. Unfortunately, I don't have time to look it up...

I think the entry is their so its not written every time the weapon master levels up (and due to space constrats). So a 3rd level Weapon master can do it 3 times, a 6th level Weapon Master 6 time etc.

Not that it matters, but how can a 5th level fighter even qualify for weapon master? Even a human fighter can't get enough feats by that point.
