Weapon of Sizing

Hi everyone, first time poster here. I've read several threads already by people with great ideas on things so I thought to try my luck and ask a question.

I am starting a new char, a slayer of domiel, whom would very much always like to have her weapon on here. My thoughts were to get a weapon of sizing and perhaps with quick draw, sleight of hand, and a second weapon to be able to swap the normal clone with the magical one.

Anyone have any great ideas to keep her from having it taken away or lost?

Unfortunately other magic items are not an option, just enchantments on weapon and skills/feats

I guess you could go all Monkey King with a sizing weapon...

There is a weapon crystal that will let you call your weapon back to your hand from a few feet away (I forget whether it's 20 or 30), but I'm not sure if there's a feat or a weapon modification that accomplishes the same thing.

If you just want a means to easily hide your weapon, don't pay for Sizing. Get Hideaway (also from Magic Item Compendium) for a flat cost of 2000 gp added to your weapon. As a swift action, you can reduce its size to two sizes smaller than you and even conceal it on your person with Sleight of Hand (it gets a +2 bonus on the check, like a dagger). It's also a swift action to revert it to regular size.
