I was looking for opinions on weather master. Has anyone used it, and what do you think about it. Thinking about adding to my collection.

I haven't used WeatherMaster, but I sometimes use the weather generator built into DM Genie. It seems to handle any weather generation needs I need.

I have Weather Master and recommend it HIGHLY. It is a great program.

It will help you:

figure out weather for multiple types of areas
figure out seasons
customize weather and % chances of a particular item happening
make weather for years in advance or day by day
create reports on weather
create god storms, for any spectacular weather you want
write up your calendar
print out your calendar
track multiple moons and their phases
figure out wind and continuous weather patterns
figure out line of sight based on current weather, height of looker and height of the object to be seen
figure sunrise and sunset based on longitude
etc.

A VERY good program! I HIGHLY recommend it!

Definitely an excellent program to have. Creating a year of daily weather for a region is pretty neat, as is creating a calendar with more than one moon.

I agree, WeatherMaster is great for what it does. A caveat though: the software is for all intents and purposes dead. There is, in fact, still tech support (last I checked was about six months ago). However, it is stuck at version 1.13, with no new development planned. If memory serves, the folks at Milieu Simulations have been, or were at one time, involved in litigation that all but stopped development of WeatherMaster. If you're happy with it as is, go for it and happy gaming!

I would also suggest taking a look at Faenworks and their program Kami's Weather Generator. Not quite up to par with WeatherMaster, IMO, but another option.
