Spoilers Wednesday S2

It’s fairly standard in dramatic storytelling to cut out the stuff when nothing plot-significant happens. Having been to boarding school, I can tell you that there is a lot of time you are in school but not in classes.

There was a scene with Pugsley causing trouble in Christopher Lloyd’s class though.
Yeah, I remembered that scene of Pugsley shocking Professor Orloff after I posted that. But even the Harry Potter films show kids going to class right up until Hogwarts is besieged.

It also feels like this season is skipping over larger amounts of time than the first season did. Like Thing made it back from the asylum to the school "on foot" super-fast, and yet later on, Billie Piper's character is talking about how long the drive out to the asylum is. I'm pretty sure that same episode had Wednesday talking to Thing at night and then suddenly it's light again outside but they're still kind of continuing the same conversation, so I guess they went to sleep and now are continuing their plans the next day?

How much time has passed since the school year started in episode 1?

It’s what you get from too much tabletop RPGs. Well, the asylum is 8 hexes from the school. That’s 40 miles. Which in wolf form, with one rider, without stealth, would take 3.5 hours.
Palladium. Wolfen with Psionics. Four days of travel by horse completed in 8 hours or so, by sprinting and using Resist Fatigue ;)

It's Wednesday here in New Zealand. I'm not sure if we'll be getting Part 2 tonight or tomorrow. (I can't remember if we got Part 1 on Wednesday for us or if we had to wait till Thursday.)

Either way, I am looking forward to the next four episodes!

Part Two is out now! Watching …

EDIT: Ha! I knew that was going to be Tyler’s mom.

I wasn’t expecting Morticia and Gomez to know zombie boy, though. I thought he was much older than that.

EDIT 2: OK I loved episode 6. Emma and Jenna are such good friends that they do such a fantastic job acting as each other. I wonder if it was their idea to do a body swap.

Well, that was fun! I knew zombie boy was going to be a major part of the story, but I didn't predict exactly how.

I knew Dort and Capri were both up to something!

I think episode 6 was my favorite of the season.

I didn't expect Gwendoline Christie's Principal Weems to return.

I liked Catherine ZT as Morticia a lot better this season than the first one. Joanna Lumley as her mother was fun too.

Was that Lily from Modern Family as Bruno's Filipino girlfriend?

Some nice hooks for season 3, whenever that may be.
