D'karr
Adventurer
Hail and well met my fellow ENWorlders. Welcome to Weekend in the Realms
We had such a great response to our last D&D Worldwide Gameday, here in Northern Virginia, that we are ready to do it again. We are currently in the process of organizing our games for Weekend in the Realms, a Living Forgotten Realms (LFR) Gameday event.
Scheduled for October 25th, we will be setting this up in both Game Parlor stores in Northern Virginia (Chantilly & Woodbridge).
So what does the event entail?
The event is part of the Living Forgotten Realms Campaign that kicked off at GenCon Indy this past August. As part of this Living Campaign you can bring your own LFR character or create a new one specifically for this adventure. Since this is a Living Campaign, you can use that character, as he advances, in any of the other Living Forgotten Realms adventures. If you are unfamiliar with the Living Forgotten Realms, please take a look at the site for additional information and for character creation guidelines.
The Adventure
The adventure itself is the Mega-Adventure, "Beneath Haunted Halls", for character levels 1-4 and written by Matt Sernett. It takes place in and around the famous, or infamous, Haunted Halls of Eveningstar. This locale, originally set in Cormyr, appeared initially in the module "FRQ1 Haunted Halls of Eveningstar" by Ed Greenwood.
"Beneath Haunted Halls" is broken down into 3 parts, and each part can be played individually. So you have a choice to play one, two, or all three parts if you’d like.
Signups are now live. The signup site for this event is linked below:
Weekend in the Realms - Northern Virginia : Event Overview
Seating is limited and will require pre-registration. Please make sure that once you register on the site that you update your gaming schedule by selecting the parts of the adventure you wish to play.
That is all for right now, hope to see many of you at this event.
Thanks,
Vic Morales (Event Coordinator)
