Weird Dreams

Angel Tarragon

Dawn Dragon
Had a weird dream last night. I dreamt I went up to the North Pole and asked Santa to be one of his helpers until he had to retire, turns out he already needed a replacement. I used the magic of Christmas to bring joy to those who had none, those who were in troubling times and even my sister managed to follow me and saw me transform into Santa. She wanted my nephew to sit on my lap. He and I shared a long hug and then my sister took him home.

Not sure what this was supposed to mean. Then again, I did go to bed right after watching Sanctuary. :heh:

It's so rare that I even remember any of my dreams that getting a "weird" one that I remember is always quite a "wow!" moment for me. Last night was such.

I dreamt that three Santa's elves, who were all very stocky and looked more like dwarves to me, were trying to come up with a plan to invade an underwater city ruled by a King who was in reality just a regular pike. Eventually they decided to sell poisoned honey to the King's lackeys and convince them that the King really really really liked honey and that they'd become very popular in the court if they fed it to the King.

In the Hive I critiqued the dream and its meaning.

As for my last dream I remember- I viciously and methodically beat someone beginning with their knees and ankles. It unsettled me greatly. I clearly have issues remaining from when my wife was messing around. Twice I have dreamed of dismantling the guy.

I need a warm fuzzy dream. Maybe with Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards.

I've had some strange dreams myself, but not as messed up at dismantling a person or as strange as being santa's helper.

Several nights ago I had a strange dream, not one I've posted in the haive but a different one. Sadly all I remember about it was that I thought that it was weird when I woke up. :(

I had an odd one last night. It wasn't weird in the sense it was outrageous, but it was totally normal and really boring, like a moment out of someone's life that dreams aren't supposed to be like.
Me and my father were in a sporting goods store shopping for a gun...for what seemed to be 2 hours. I just remember mainly looking at the racks of equipment and stuff in the store as he haggled with the guy over price.

So normal that is was odd.

I should start a dream journal. I often have day dreams and the such that are strange. I'm sure they mean something.

I just woke up from a dream where I took some friends to a bakery I'm fond of in my home town, only it had moved to a different state, and all the employees were rude, and when I got to the counter to place my order they made me go to the back of the line because I hadn't read the signs in the window saying what today's specials were. And when I ordered a soda, they charged me $15 for it. And I couldn't get my money back because as soon as I complained, all my friends (who had long since already gotten and eaten their food) headed off to go watch Twilight.

Okay, had another weird dream last night.

I dreamt that I ripped off the airline companies, twice. The seconfd time I almost didn't get away with it. A lot of close calls with being caught. Finally after arriving in a different country, and a certain amount of time had passed the companies had to stop pursuing me.

Well I found a mobster and he managed to take care of me, for a percentage. I figures that since I had over a billion dollars, a small percentage (I think it was like 5 or 10%) was worth it. The money was cleaned and I set up a financial empire. I quickly became the richest man on Earth. I had a car/submersible/airplane built (there was nowhere on Earth I couldn't go) and was building a city of my own. Get this, the city was based on Mongooses' Stormhaven. Yes, it was built in the seas, and I actually named it Stormhaven.

The dream was so vivid, so real. When I woke up I felt like life was the dream.

I fell through my bed into an azure sky and birds the size of giraffes.
Landed on a patch of flowers wilted from the cold of winter.
But the sun was strong and bright and the jacket on my shoulders had to go as the heat was unbearable.
Walked through the rotting meadow into a forest which led to a city.
It wasn't a city I'd ever been to, but somehow I ended up at my real job.
Everyone was dazed somehow and hardly even looked as I walked by.
Went to my desk, sat down, closed my eyes.
Opened eyes, found the desk sitting on top of a hill, overlooking stairs leading up.
Walked the stairs all the way up. Halfway realized they actually led down.
Stepped down into a hallway of rose quartz glimmering in moonlight.
Saw my old teacher, young as the day she was when I was a boy.
Woke up to a memory of crazy wild sex with said teacher, but no actual details of what we'd actually done.

That, verbatim, should be set to music, recorded, and released in America.

Back in about 1974 or so, I had a recurring nightmare for several weeks in which I went to a zoo full of dinosaurs...which then got loose. I was the only survivor of the massacre.

And yet I loved Jurassic Park.

A few years later, I had a recurring dream in which I fell from the top branches of a super-redwood, falling faster and faster. I looked to either side of me, and saw my friends also falling. Then, one by one, they stopped falling and flew off...

I, OTOH, hit the ground, leaving the Wile E. Coyote style body-shaped crater in the ground. I got out of it, though.

I had one in my first year of college in which I left my dorm room at night to go for a walk. I started off over the grass and dried leaves, but as I walked, the leaves got crunchier and crunchier. I looked down, and I was walking on child-sized skulls.
