Roughly 60% of all Mars missions have failed due to one obstacle or another. Today was not one of those days. Humanity today has landed a mobile robotic science rover on the surface of mars. It can drive faster than most of us travel on the freeway. It can probe an Armadillo in less than one standard D&D combat round. Welcome to another step towards the future, humanity.

We've reversed aging in mice. Bonobos are using iPads to learn icon vocabularies with thousands of English words. The Higgs particle was finally found, rounding out all the subatomic particles predicted by quantum physics.

Faster-than-light particles. Graphene. Keppler 22-b.

And now the Curiosity rover, a ridiculously well-stocked high-speed science lab on wheels. This is a great time to be alive!
