I DID like how the WOTC contingent were able to poke fun at the way they are viewed. Using the Imperial March as their acceptance music was pretty funny.

Same music they used last year IIRC.

Oh no, the ever-versatile and yummy when fried flumphs are getting a makeover in the book Misfit Monsters Revisited which if I remember correctly comes out in October. A few of the classic red-headed stepchildren of D&D past will accompany the great floating pancake in this book.

I would like to make special note of The Player's Guide to the Great City by 0one Games, that actually beat Paizo for the Gold.

It was a Pathfinder compatible product though.
