Yep, 3.0. Some of the changes are comparable to 3.5, I think (don't have the books). These are what work for the campaign.

Gleaned what I wanted, so to speak... ;)

I'd drop some comments, but I don't intend to make you change your mind :)
(Also lots of game material there which I really don't know about.)

- Bluff as class skill for Fighters but only with some uses. I'm not sure what you mean here. If you mean that a Fighter who spent 4 sp in Bluff counts as having +4 for feinting in combat AND +2 for other uses, then it's ok. I had the doubt that you meant he'd have 0 in the other uses, but that would be unfair.

- Feats for Xp cost. Lots of gamers consider metagame feats weak, why do have them cost triple? I think metamagic are fantastic for spontaneous casters, for other casters they are costly feats.

- Critical rolls: without a confirmation roll, criticals will depend ONLY on the weapons, and not on the characters.

- giant elves? :uhoh:

HAdn't considered the fighter/bluff stuation (no one has played that out yet). Thanks for the response on that.

IME, (so far) they are considered weak compared to other feats. If you can purchase them, then the 1st level casters would stock pile the meta-feats (while their still cheap) and use their bonus feats elsewhere.

We also have a large selection of creatures with spell like abilities. I group feats that enhance those into this catagory to curb availability (imagine being a drow who can cast Fairy fire with a 20 ft area, doing X damage every round becuase the fire really burns!!!).

Weren't the elves in Raymond Feist's Riftwar Saga much taller than your standard Tolkienesque elves? (around 6.5 - 7 feet)

Hmm, I don't remember them being that tall. Its been a while since I've read (or reread) the series though.

I remember elves being tall in some series, I believe it was the death gate books by Weis and Hickman but I could be wrong about that. It stated that while "bob" was tall for human standards, he was still head and shoulders shorter than an average elf.
