Well, there goes hotmail.

My hotmail has been down since about 4:00 yesterday (Eastern time). Is it just me or is this happening to everyone else too?

I can usually get to the login screen and enter my name and password, then it goes to a totally blank white page and nothing ever happens. Occasionally it gets to a poorly formatted version of the Hotmail Today page, and I can see that I have new messages, but if I try to click on them, or on Inbox, Compose, or Contacts, nothing happens.

This happens in both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Anyone have any clues what gives?

I just tried logging in twice. Both times I got a page that simply said "This server is too busy."

Update - Seems to be working now.

I use Hotmail and Gmail. I was getting really fed-up with hotmail for a while because of the spam, but the new blockers they put in work very well. However, I really really really like Gmail. Especially when we try to have IC discussions over email. It keeps them together and in order.

As far as google, sure they're expanding. Don't forget the Froogle beta. It's got some bugs to it, but it's a pretty cool concept.

Also, I have 5 gmail invites left if anyone wants one. I do not mandate that I recieve the first born...second or third born should be fine.
