I am looking for a feat called epon companion if i remember corectly. it was an intresting feat that gave your wepon some intresting abilitys. i don't remember what book it was in have been looking for months dose any one know what book it's in. or maybe if i have the wrong name.

So you are looking for a feat that gives weapons interesting abilities? Care to elaborate?

I've seen a couple of things like this. There is a weapon familiar feat in one of the Eberron books, either "Races of" or the campaign setting book. Alternatively, White Wolf had one in the "Vigil Watch: Secrets of the Asaathi" book.

All I could think of was weapons of legacy, which can be enhanced with feats I believe.

Ancestral weapon out of BoED can be kinda cool. A great feat to center a storyline around.

There's Ancestral Relic (I think that's the name) from Book of Exalted Deeds. As I recall, it lets you spend gold as an "offering" to basically emulate creating a magic weapon.

I believe Dragon magazine had an article with an alternate class feature for a Paladin where you gave up the Mount for a holy weapon that basically increased in power with your character. Not sure which issue that was.

Item Familiar from Unearthed Arcana. I think that may be what you are thinking of. awayfarer, there isn't anything like that in any of the Eberron books that I can find.

The Warforged Artificer substitution levels from Races of Eberron has an ability called "Weapon Familiar". That might be what you are thinking of.
