Were YOU ever Slain by an Elf?

I ran a one-shot (or two) based on the idea of a war against the elves, to test out 4e's higher level stuff.

Sadly, none of the PCs were slain.

A PC in my WFRP2e game was killed by an elf in the intro adventure. It was brutal.

if Drow count, then definitely yes.

Back in the mid eighties I lost many a character to the Vault/Demonweb. Luckily, the character sheets had a handy 'last will and testament' section which allowed for easy transfer of goods and motivation.

I have never been slain by an elf. However, if we are to be politically correct, I have fallen prey to an Eladrin American.

Yes, the first PC in the first game I played was slain by an elf.

Got knocked unconscious by the leader of the elf slaver bitches that had captured us because I refused to surrender to them. Then got two spears to the throat as an example to the other PC who also refused to surrender. Don't know if they were supposed to be drow, we were underground, but the DM just said they were elves.

I voted no, but one of the closest fought battles in any game I have played in was against a troupe of House Phiarlan elven assassins disguised as clowns in an Eberron campaign. Taught me to never trust an exclusive invitation to a once in a lifetime performance ever again.

I remember that an Elf came pretty close once to kill my Dwarven Wizard once (I am not sure, but I think it might even have involved a Dwarven Bane Bow), but she didn't survive my Disintegrate spell (who in his right mind creates an Elven Ranger with Con 8? Stupid module writer )

I am not sure if I maybe lost a character to a Drow, but I don't think so.

So I'd say I was never slain by an elf.

Yes. I think I've lost a PC to just about every subrace of elf.

I fear Athasian elves more than Drow.

Yes, I was crushed by the bunch of drow corpses once. Never freeze flying elves above your head to death if you have single digit HP.
