"Wha Happen?"

I think the huge number of errata is pathetic!

Take a widely used spell like dispel magic - there is a GLARING error in the area of effect! Somebody needs to be fired.

I feel ya on all counts, but keep in mind that 30% off of $39.95 is still roughly ten bucks more than 30% off of $29.95.

Only if seven bucks is roughly ten bucks.

(.7*39.95)-(.7*29.95)=.7*(39.95-29.95)=.7*10=7

30% off $39.95 would be about $28, about current cover price with (supposedly) the added benefit of the books actually being correct.

I don't know about you, but I'm already getting pressure from both my gaming groups to convert to 3.5. I think we will convert one game over ( our lower level game ) and see how it goes by next week...

No pressure at all. Out of seven folks in my gaming group (including me), I've got one or two interested in the revision. I, the DM, am not one of those interested, so there will be no change over. It's that simple. :)

"Wha Happen?" is from Fred Willards character in a Mighty Wind.

anyway, So what are people to do?

I'd urge you all to write an email to WoTC and voice your displeasure with current production quality levels.

Its not much but its a start.

Also, let your buying power speak as well. Dont buy anything from WoTC at least before all the reviews are in and you can physically look thru the book. I'll never preorder anything they publish again.

Thanks for the filler text. I guess you guys musta got free copies or something?

Yeah, that will be nice. I just got my 3.5 ( $70 - no tax, thanks to my SFLGS! ) books yesterday, so I'm a bit jealous of this notion ya see.

The campaign I'm DMing will not be switching over until we have "playtested" the changes in the other group. :D . Strangley enough, almost everyone in both groups already has the revised books already...
