I survived. Close at the end; had to run out to a bakery and they were playing Christmas music. Luckily it was "I'm Getting Nuttin' For Christmas" and I beat a hasty retreat before the song changed.

Well, got in the car and drove to our service…unWhammed!

Turned on the car, got Motley Crüe’s “Doctor Feelgood”, followed by commercials. Got all green lights, cutting travel time in half. The station was still in commercial break when I turned off the car after parking.

Soooo, from here on ill never see Dr Feelgood as anything but a story about one of Santa's elves breaking bad.
