If you want to DM Eberron, Sharn: City of Towers is great. I'm kind of uncertain on the other ones, outside of Secrets of Sarlona, but that one is quite specific. You could easily run a campaign just in Sharn.

The Expanded Psionics Handbook is the best add-on system to the rules. Very useful if you DM Eberron and have Kalashtar in the party. There are a couple NPCs in Sharn that have psionic class levels.

Player's Handbook 2 is probably the next book you would want. It errata's polymorph and introduces plenty of useful feats. The affiliation rules could easily be fit into Eberron as well. Your players will also enjoy it greatly.

I have $90 in gift certificates from participating in a survey to Barnes and Noble. What are the 3 best non setting specific WOTC books to buy. I already own MM 1+2, PHB, DMG, Libris Mortis, Eberron core book. Looking for Enworld's best recommendation.

In addition to the core three, I like UA and the DMG II.

Magic Item Compendium (makes magic items interesting at last), PHB II (Really good feats and interesting classes, some handy rules as well, combined with MIC makes making high level NPCs a lot quicker), Heroes of Battle (personal favourite really only suits war type campaigns however).

Best values for your money are probably Spell Compendium, Magic Item Compendium, and PHB2.

That would be my 3 choices. If I had to pick a 4th book it would be difficult but these 3 books are easy to pick.
