What a Sunday!

So yeah, this was one of the best (if not the best outright) Sundays for the NFL ever. History was made by Manning and you had many great games that actually mattered - hell, even teams that had nothing to play for put on a show (KC)!

On a personal level I was really happy, too. The Browns lost (as expected ... and fired their coach which was dumb) which gave the Steelers a chance to make the playoffs if Miami, Baltimore and San Diego lost. Miami and Baltimore decided they didn't want to go to the playoffs so Pittsburgh was sitting pretty ... until San Diego barely beat a game KC team playing backups. Not promising for the Chargers, no, but wonderful for this Browns fan. Did I mention I'm also a Packers fan? What a game! Classic, man. And two guys returned to the team after missing a lot of games with injuries and they basically won it. Of course San Francisco also won (on a hell of an ending) so that means they'll be heading to Lambeau. Not ... uhh ... good for the Pack. They're 0-2 in the last two years with a humiliating playoff loss last year. The 9rs aren't that awesome this year but they do play defense - something the Packers don't.

Anyhoo, yeah. What did y'ins think about this past Sunday of football?

Not a bad final week as they go. A lot of poorly played, but competitive games. Some serious choke jobs. Only a bad call stood between Pittsburgh and a playoff spot that three much better teams could have had but didn't do much to earn. And then there was Dallas managing to pull a Romo without Romo.

Still, exciting games, and what looks like a very competitive playoff slate for next week.

Yeah, it should be interesting. The Eagles win probably ruined some of the Saint's celebration. Outdoors in the snow is not a Saints kind of game. We'll see, though.

I've been a Seahawks fan since their first year as an expansion team (Lived in NW Oregon, so they were the first "hometown" NFL team).

Finally clinched home field advantage.
Overall I've loved this season.

What do you mean finally? They had the number one seed in 05. They had the easiest road as well as they played the number 6 and number 5 teams from the NFC to make the Superbowl, and then played the number 6 team in the AFC in the Superbowl.

It was a great day of Football and I'm so pleased with the Sunday Ticket. It is looking to be a great playoffs as the match ups seem good on paper.

Miami really had to work hard the last two weeks of the season to miss the playoffs--but their hard work paid off and they are now on vacation!

It was a fun weekend to watch American football.

I'm just happy to see the Packers going to the playoffs. And that game was pretty fun to watch, especially with that epic touchdown. "Ok guys I guess...wait...what...oh keep going? Ok!"

Yeah, it was hilarious. I thought it was a fumble and was all like 'oh noes, another red zone to' but when none of the Bears guys went after it I wasn't sure. Crazy moment and one the Bears guys are never gonna forget. :D
