What Actors do You Find to Be Warning Flags

Now I'm not necessarily talking about actors you hate. I'm talking about the ones where if you see them in a film, you know it can't possibly be any good. Christopher Lambert is one for me. I don't hate him, I don't think he's a very good actor for the most part, but you know any film he's going to be in is a turkey (Fortress anyone?).

Anyone From Saturday Night Live : Except for Michael Myers - In fact I think they should probably pass a law that NOBODY from SNL, except Mike gets to make movies. Especially if it's based on a character from one of their scetches or is Adam Sandler.

The Baldwin Family - (Possibly excepting Alex : He's been in enough good films that his prescence doesn't necessarily indicate a turkey). There are so many Baldwin brothers and they've been in so many bad films, does more need to be said?

Rap Stars - With the exception of Ice-T who's done enough work in non-Rap star roles that he has become a respectible actor. As a square white guy raised in the burbs, who's favorite music happens to be largely 80's anime Jpop. I know that any movie featuring rap stars as the main characters is not a film aimed at me.

Any movie where the lead is somehow in the music industry. Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, anyone from a boy band, etc, etc.

Anyone who used to be a pro wrestler. *cough* The Rock *cough, cough*

And Ashton Kutcher......Bleh. :\

Heavan's no!! You can't seriously be speaking of the Highlander that way...

Just what exactly is Christopher Lambert's accent anyway? It doesn't sound quite french or german...a friend mine best summed it up when she said..."he sounds European"...I followed up with the question... "from where"...the answer... "like I said, from Europe".

But I mean...you seriously cannot be demeaning the star of such films as "Greystroke, the Legedn of Tarzan", "Knight Moves", "Gunmen" (Co starring Mario Van Peebles and Patrick Stewart...bleh), the Fortress series,

or the one where he is a cop in New Orleans...or that one where' he's a druid...or that Mortal Kombat movie...

Don't know what's more disturbing -- the quality of Lambert's movies or the fact I've seen them all...

Really? I thought Butterfly Effect was possibly one of the best films I have ever seen out of the thousands I have watched. His acting was very good in it as well. Though I'll grant you everything else has been... well... pretty juvenile :\

Like I've said in other threads, I have not yet seen The Butterfly Effect, so I reserver judgement on that. But as far as That 70's Show, and Dude, Where's My Car, I pretty much stay away from Kutcher movies. I enjoy That 70's Show, but man does he bug me. :\

I actually liked The Scorpion King. That's not to say that it's a good movie, but I liked it :)

And I've liked several Will Smith movies (though I thought Independence Day was terrible). Maybe people don't think of him as a rap star.
