D&D General What alignment are you?

I try my best to be Neutral Good. Doing right by people, upholding justice while defending liberty and opposing the wicked. Sometimes you have to use clear rules. Sometimes you have to make it up as you go. But either way, you have to be kind.

And what do you base that on? Is it aspirational for you or a reflection of your actual behavior? Is this something you think about in your regular life? (I have to confess, I do think about my alignment on the regular, and I'm not even a 1E paladin.)
Great prompt. Did you say what you think yours would be?

Can't claim to fully understand alignment myself, but I think I'd be neutral good. Definitely good. Similar to what some others have said, I respect some authority and legality, but not as a matter of course. It depends on the authority and whether it's compassionate and just. I don't believe in the law if it's clearly cruel or corrupt.

And what do you base that on?
Many/most(I can't actually count them) fall into the CG category. I have a strong belief in individual rights and a weak centralized government.
Is it aspirational for you or a reflection of your actual behavior?
It's a reflection of my behavior and beliefs.
Is this something you think about in your regular life? (I have to confess, I do think about my alignment on the regular, and I'm not even a 1E paladin.)
Not even a little. Every few years something gets me to think about it, like this thread, but in my every day life it just never even remotely comes to the surface. :p

Netural Good with lawful tendencies.

I obey the law or rules most of the time because it is for the common good, but im not opposed to breaking them for the greatest good.

Except when I've had a few drinks then definitely Chaotic Neutural with good tendencies.

According to online surveys over the years I belong in house Slytherin, Ravenclaw, AND Gryffindor. :D
Ha! I feel like I'd get sorted into Gryffindor but then after exposing a dark conspiracy involving some of the faculty would seek to destroy the school from within.

Many would despise me for it. Luckily, I'd be fine with that.
