D&D 3E/3.5 What are the 3.5 epic rules

maggot

First Post
I'm running a 3.5 game that is fast becoming epic, but the epic rules are out of date. Even those in the SRD are behind the times (for example, Mighty Rage is listed as epic feat but is a standard 3.5 barbarian ability). What are people doing for epic rules? Is there an update somewhere?

There are updates in the DMG, the Draconomicon, and the Complete books. There's no one source with everything.

Thanks. I couldn't find anything in the Draconomicon, but I did find a small amount in the DMG and Complete books. The DMG info looked like it was only half updated to 3.5. For example, paladins say they turn undead at level-2 (instead of level-3), and druids say they get twice their level in animal companions (and that's not even right for 3.0), The ranger info looks updated however.

So I'm still looking. Has anybody updated all the Epic info to 3.5?

The Draconomicon has updated feats. And maybe information on Epic dragons, so it might not pertain to you, depending.

DMG has very basic material (epic progressions for main classes and a few feats)

Expanded Psionics has epic psionic classes and psi-feats

Complete books have epic feats, classes, and a example PrC (careful: the Complete Divine is Cut-and-Paste and still lists Beast Shape as a pre-req feat)

The Wizards 3.5 Update Book (under downloads on mainsite) has epic DMG PrCs and some updates for 3.5 (though pretty bare-bones, no revisions just irons out compatibility and converts monsters)

Draconomicon has some updated Epic Feats in the Dragon Chapter (Two, I think)

Frostburn and Sandstorm both have some Epic Spells

There is some epic stuff in Player's Guide to Faerun, but I don't own that book.

On my other computer, I have a list of each Epic Feat and what books they've been updated in (and necessary changes) If I get a chance, I'll find it and post it if people want. (and its not a no-no).

This is one of the few times I recomend using the SRD instead of the actual books. The SRD has included the updated rules for the Epic Handbook and the abreviated ones from teh DMG.
