What are the Release Dates for the LotR DVD's

I have a friend that was asking when exactly the diffrent DVD's for Fellowship of the Rings are due out. Anyone help me with this or have they not announced it yet?

It should be out next month (August). This will be the 2-disc Platinum Edition.

Then November, they will come out with a Collector's/Gift Edition that will include the 2-disc set, a special documentary disc by National Geographic, and a die-cast figure(?).

August 6th for the normal 2-disc Platinum Edition, with should retail for $22.95 I think

November 12th for the Extended Version, which retails for $39.95

Also on November 12th is the Collector's/Gift Edition Ranger REG mentioned, which retails for $79.95

I wish they'd just release the extended version without all the extra crap on disc 3 and 4. I have never watched the "extra features" stuff on DVDs.
