What are the rules on stacking magical abilities for weapons

I am under the impression that a weapon cannot be flaming and electricity at the same time (for 2d6). What are the specifics on that, how can I determing what abliites can and cannot work at the same time on magical weapons.

Additionally, there's no explicit limit on having the same ability more than once (like, say, 2x Flaming). There's such examples in WotC products, like a Fire Giant King with a Flaming x3 Battle Axe.

so it would be possible to have a flaming x2 electric dagger dealing 2d6 fire 1d6 electricity and 1d4 mundane?

Yes. Or any other fun combination thereof. note though that the dagger has to be magical so the 1d4 wouldn't be necessarily "mundane"

okay. A weapon has to have a +1 in order to get abilities. Is this a +1 magical enhancement, or could it be the +1 enhancement from MW?

It is not incredibly clearly spelled out in the RAW, but I would take the position that the +1 enhancement bonus to attack rolls granted by the masterwork quality is not a "full" +1 enhancement bonus for the weapon as a whole, which would require a +1 bonus to both attacks and damage. Others may disagree, but it seems clear to me that the intent is that only a magical enhancement qualifies when it comes to adding "specials" to magical weapons.

so it is correct to assume that a flaming dagger would cost the same as a +2 magical weapon?

I had figured as much, but it confused me when DM genie allowed me to create a flaming dagger without the +1 enhancement bonus.

DM genie can be wrong. The correct, by the rules version would be a +1 flaming dagger, and be valued identically to a standard +2 dagger.
