I really enjoyed running Fiends Embrace, had no idea you wrote it. Good job! Do more of them.

Thanks, Festivus. I'm trying, trust me. The competition is pretty fierce with the likes of Nick Logue and his team of Savage adventure writing Hawaiian monkeys that keep churning out like a dozen adventures a month. Then there's Rich who's most certainly made a pact with the devil to account for his rise as an uber Paizo celebrity. I think Rich had Greg Vaughn assasinated. You may have noticed a sudden lack of any material from him in Dungeon or recent posts by him on the Paizo boards in the past couple of months. I have no hard evidence, but I'm tellin ya.

The Styes are a nice D&D look at the effects of D&D magic and city development from a more "realistic" standpoint. I like it mostly because it reminds me less of this China guy than it does Sanctuary/Theives World. Albeit a tad more developed technologically.

The Styes are awesome! Both adventures are amazing, and I'd love to see a Styes issue in Dragon or Dungeon detailing more city locations and more on the Councilmen in particular.

I think I'm going to incorporate the Styes into part of a homebrew New-Orleans-esque city that's the focus of my latest True20 campaign.
