Technically, a bridegroom.... It's my wedding day. Actually, we're staging a renaissance wedding ceremony, with a passing tribute to the occasion of Samain, and having it on All Hallow's Eve made it easier to get people to dress appropriately. So... I guess I'll be a "renaissance bridegroom."

Everyone in general, sounds like most of you are definitely in the spirit of the season- that's great, me too! I still need to get my costume together, though... but there's a place about two blocks from my work that specializes in Halloweenie stuff.

Can't wait, I've got a lot of parties to hop that night!

Me and a couple friends are all getting fake mullet wigs, trucker hats, and Johnny Knoxville sunglasses and sporting Aerosmith and Lynyrd Skynyrd and AC/DC and Black Sabbath T-shirts and going as 70s metalheads.

Drunk guy in Gainesville, more than likely. I too may be painted as one of the Insane Clowns, if not for the simple reason that they're better than ANYONE gives them credit for, then for the fact that very few people will do so as well, and I prefer to not see mysefl walking from bar to bar. It's usually not conducive to a good evening drinking.

I shall be going as Hagrid. I have the costume, a stuffed baby Norbert, and a toy motorcycle. I'll be telling the kids that Snape shrnk my motorcycle. I also have one of those large spiders that have the air pump in them, so when you pump it, it looks like the spider is moving. After all - Hagrid does take care of magical creatures, so why not a spider?

I always answer the door in costume, and generally have fun wth the kids. Last year I was Green Lantern and I was asking if they'd seen Batman and Superman....

One of the faux togas from Animal House. I have yet to decide which character to be. Bluto has a certain appeal, but I am seriously considering Otter to have that nice tie&toga combination.

I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me shave my head again so I can coat it in white makeup with some black and grey highlights for the whole skull look. She doesn't like the fact that it'd take about a week for my hair to grow back to a reasonable length* -- she says I scare people anyway with my head shaved.

*I keep my hair pretty short, anyway. And it grows fast.
