What are you reading? [June]

I'm reading Timescape by Gregory Benford, a time-travel novel. Well, not really time travel so much as sending messages into the past using tachyons. It's pretty good so far.

Currently reading Charles Stross' The Family Trade. Next up I have Rainbow's End by Vernor Vinge and Abbarat by Clive Barker. If I can find it in the near future, I'd like to pick up Robert Charles Wilson's Blind Lake and Vellum: The Book of all Hours by Hal Duncan looks interesting, but is in oversized paperback form so requires a bit more confidence to make the investment...

I'm reading Mad Ship, book 2 of the Liveship Traders trilogy by Robin Hobb. It's pretty good series so far. I figured since I wont be taking any classes this summer, I might actually be able to catch up on a few books. Yippie for (a little extra) free time!

Currently reading The Complete Peanuts '57 - '58. After that, I'll be reading Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson on my brother's recomendation.

Whooooo boy are you in for a treat. I love Snow Crash.

Right now I am re-reading the 'Dark Theaters' collection of Delta Green related short stories. Good stuff.

Just finished reading Fool Moon, the second Dresden novel. Also reading a bunch of No Quarter magazines and a book called The Decline and Fall of Practically Everybody.

Well, I just saw the 2002 movie version of Nicholas Nickleby for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I am re-reading this Dickens novel and laughing my head off before I go to bed each evening. Also picked up a translated collection of the Icelandic Sagas (VERY cool stuff, btw), which I am reading "in between things" and Nicholas Nickleby.

Another re-read here: the Harry Potter books. I'm currently on Goblet of Fire. I never did read the latest, so I have an added incentive to catch up.

Oh, and I've started reading the Bible cover to cover, at a rate of 5 pages/day. Just enough to stop & think about what I'm ready. My current thought: Genesis is WACKY.

I've been reading the Miles Vorkosigan books, from The Warrior's Apprentice. Starting on Diplomatic Immunity now.

You ain't seen nothin' yet... :\

Right now I'm reading the FR novel The Dream Spheres by Cunningham. I read the others in the series a while ago. I've also been checking out graphic novels from the library and I read them as I get them. Mostly it's Neil Gaiman lately.
Don't know what I'll read next. The library system by me isn't as good as the Buffalo one was, so I'm still waiting for the new Dresden book and some other stuff. I actually bought a book for full price yesterday (most of the books I get are from book sales and cheaper than retail). I got the BtVS book Queen of the Slayers, because I got tired of waiting for it to come into the library.
I'll be dealing with a lot of books for a while since I have to go through all the books my mother and I have gotten over the years and cull out a lot. There're boxes and boxes here at the house and also in the storage place with the rest of my stuff from Buffalo. We're going to try selling a lot of them on Ebay. I'll post here when that starts so you'll all know you can take a look at what there is. I know there's going to be Star Wars, Star Trek, James Bond, and a bunch of other series books set up as lots. It'll be a lot of work, but as long as more people can enjoy them, then that's pretty cool by me.
