Agamon

Adventurer
I've got the Steel Squire templates, and they get used when appropriate. My Dungeon Tiles have yet to see any use, though. It's a lot easier to draw on a TacTile than look for the tile you need.

Working on it
I voted Steel Sqwire, since they're the only props I've ever used at the gaming table. I've got a few terrain/dungeon/starship tiles, and I really like the Paizo map tiles, but I haven't used them yet.

I put "pillars" as my single choice for most-used. (BTW, wedding supply sections in craft stores are a good source of cheap, good-looking pillars - intended for wedding cakes.)

The next five most-used would probsbly be:
mount/horse/camel
2D terrain tile
spell effect (Steel Squire radii)
field wall/hedgerow
trees

I have a set of the Mage Knight 3D Dungeon plastic dungeon walls/floors/doors, but they're such a pain to snap together I rarely use them in actual play.

Dwarven Forge resin dungeon tiles,
trees (dowel pieces and railroad scale),
bushes (moss),
rocks/boulders (using real pebbles and small rocks),
campfire (made of painted Sculpey and cotton wisp for smoke).

Mostly just the Dwarven Forge stuff though. Everything else I just tend to draw on the battlemat.

Richards

Legend
I use the open and closed cardboard doors from the HeroQuest boardgame when playing D&D. I've also made various crates and boxes using posterboard. Other than that, those, I pretty much use dice.

Johnathan

Most of my work is not on the erasable battlemats but I also have the following-

Foam board-
Generic towers
Generic Elemental air Ships (Eberron)
Broken Anvil Tavern (popular beginning point in Sharn of Eberron)

Toys-
Sections of fences and stone walls
Large blocks

Foam sheets-
Cut to be Rivers of water
Rivers of lava
Dirt roads
Marsh

I also glue the popped out sections of Chessex storage boxes of black foam and make sections of "ruined" walls.

Most recently the Dungeon Tiles ( Beginners sets with Black and Blue dragons, DDM starters and now the new punch out pieces.

For spell effects I sometimes print things out the computer. I have an 7x10 inch grid keep for use.

Styrofoam cut to make hills and walls

I'm sure I'm missing things but I can't think of it currently...
