What are your favorite weapons?

I wasn't pleased with how the spear converted (you must use it two-handed, ruling out hoplite style fighters with 8ft spears), or falchions (good stats perhaps, but why is it 2 handed???)

I'm fine with how the spear is, but yes, where's my Hoplite? I love the idea of a Warforged Hoplite in Eberron, but I can't do it!

Ever since 3e came out it's been the Two Bladed Sword, but the Broad Bladed Short Sword is rapidly becoming my new favorite.

Axes and Warhammers - but I like dwarf fighters!

For non dwarves, I'm a big fan of the agricultural look - scythes and flails!

Favorite RPG weapon is automatic shotguns - for some reason I'm not allowed those in standard DnD games. Damn those nerfing GMs.

I tend to play Elfs, Half-Elfs, Elfs, Elfs, Half Elfs and Elfs So depending on the class they always have some sort of bow (normally long) and either a small or long sword. But again, this depends alot on class

An assault rifle. A machine gun is (for me) just too heavy to carry around with me all the time, and having an extra guy to carry the ammunition makes things even more difficult. Pistols are only useful at very close ranges, and from my single experience with shooting a rocket-propelled grenade I must say that I prefer something that is made for aiming at people rather than fast-moving tanks...
