I'm not 100% sure the water thing is even new, though.

Their 3.5 PHB entry mentions under Halfling Lands that some halfling communities wander from place to place, using wagons or boats.

Total Recall proves that Halflings CAN be 3 feet tall, and (sexy?), and we don't have to feel dirty!

I just threw up in my mouth a little.

The halflings in my campaign world are very hobbit-like. They prefer settled, civilized lives and excel at the domestic arts like no other. In fact many kingdoms are judged by how many halfling realms they have in their land. Halflings are renowned for their abilities as craftsmen and tradesmen. They especially excel at cooking, baking, and brewing. As to way they would adventure, I made it a cultural thing among the halflings, that at early adulthood their young should journey the world and learn their way. They don't settle down until after this usually decade-long trip.

I voted Hobbit, and Hobbits they are in my games...none of this "Halfling" stuff.

I'm surprised the poll didn't list "Kender" as an option, however.
