What became of Kate Monk's Onomastikon?

I have always used the great site Kate Monk's Onomastikon for my games, but today I went to it and the link gives me a 404 error.

Sure we still have google cache and the wayback machine.

But I wonder, what became of it? Anyone knows? It is a great loss if it is anything but temporary, I checked it no more than 2 weeks ago and it was still there.

I haven't used Kate Monk's site, so I can't tell you what happened there. Hopefully it will come back up.

For historical names, you could try SCA College of Arms - Education Articles, which has a variety of medieval and renaissance period names from different cultures.

That wasn't actually Kate Monk's site -- that was a bunch of people who chose to ignore her when she asked people not to replicate her content. Still a loss, I suppose, but I sort of feel like the real loss happened over a decade ago. (Man, time flies.)
