The last book(s) of the War of the Spider Queen. Just got Annihlation last week but am reading something else right now. And whatever catches my fancy when I walk into Waldenbooks and hit the SF/Fantasy section.

Whatever the next Black Company book is from Glen Cook. I don't even know if he is writing one...but if he is...I am waiting for it :)

Back in the 80s David Gerrold started a series called The War Against the Chtorr.

Yeah. And Janissaries 4, damn it!

Pournelle was over two-thirds of the way through writing it in nineteen-ninety-bloody-nine!

My list:

Twilight Rising, Serpent's Dream - Diana Marcellas
Olympos - Dan Simmons
The Captal's Tower - Melanie Rawn
The Swan's War 3 - Sean Russell
The Two Swords - R.A. Salvatore
Triad - Catherine Asaro
Crown of Stars - Kate Elliott
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell - Susanna Clarke

I guess I'm also waiting for the next Song of Fire and Ice, Harry Potter, and Wheel of Time (please let us be past the half-way mark).

A Feast For Crows by GRRM
Deadhouse Gates by Steve Erikson (US Release)
Knife of Dreams by RJ
Charnel Prince by Greg Keyes

Louise Cooper is going to try and have The Time Master trilogy and the prequel and sequel trilogies reprinted. All the books were published in the US & the UK EXCEPT for the 2nd & 3rd books in the prequel. They were only published in the UK... very annoying. I'm really excited and can't wait till they come out (if they do).

Funny thing, I dont really read alot of fantasy, but the next book Im looking forward to is Gene Wolfes The Wizard, the follow up to the very nice The Knight.

Volume 2 of the REH Conan anthology is a close second.

count me among those waiting for the last installment of Stephen King's The Dark Tower!

I would like to try some of the suggestions here, but it is so hard to decide. Books dent your pocketbook pretty fast (between novels and D20 manuals ... sheesh!) and libraries don't always get what you want
