What books do you use EVERY session?

PHB, MotP, the various WotC Monster Books. Plus any of the 2e Planescape books in pdf for quick reference as needed. I don't bother bringing the DMG anymore since I run so loosely.

For me it's the PHB and MM every session. The DMG makes an appearance on a regular basis, and I have a few books that have some useful guides for when the characters go "off the map" and do stuff I didn't anticipate.

Core books, Complete books. Every time. Sometimes the Draconomicon and Libris Mortis.

Let me cut & paste from Thanee:

PHB.

To a lesser degree the DMG and MM, as well as the FRCS.

Nothing else (every session, that is).

Bye
Thanee sfedi

The session itself - PHB as simply a spell reference. Really - that's about it (and even then).

I do prep extensively with e-tools so that covers all my critters, except for Bestiary of Krynn - which I will prep with when I need to.

I wrap up and calculate XP post-session with the DMG I suppose.

DLCS, Towers of High Sorcery and War of the Lance might be referred to as well - but these are all referred to between sessions.

PHP 4.0: A complete Reference and MySQL 3.x Complete Reference - oh wait, you meant D&D. Been so long now I don't even know if I remember how to play.
Pfft, it's just make-believe with dice. How hard can it be? :p

Every session I use the Dungeon Master's Guide (3.5), Monster Manual (3.5), and the Complete Book of Eldritch Might*.

I use the Player's Handbook (3.5) in about 85% of my sessions.

* Rarely, I'll use the individual Books of Eldritch Might (I, II, and III) instead of the CBoEM, but this is basically the same thing, since very little was done to update the material to 3.5 anyway. We have one player who owns the individual books and two who have the CBoEM (and I have it as DM), so there's never a lack for it around our table.

The only book that gets used every session is Players Handbook 3.5. And the Dungeon Master's Guide gets used almost every session. After those its the Eberron Campaign Setting followed by the Monster Manual. Other books are used on a as needed basis.
