Since WOTC has said they plan for the Campaign Settings to release one per year for 4e, I was curious to see what Campaign Setting support you would like to see them do.

My heart yearns for Ravenloft, and given that a) it was the first one licensed out in 3E, and b) it's still being supported with novels (reprints now, but with fresh novels coming next year), I think it's actually somewhat likely.

However, given the direction that both it and 4E are going, I wonder if it might not be used to jumpstart a 2nd Edition of d20 Modern (although it'd have to be more like d20 Past/Modern combined), and if it might not be better suited to that.

My vote: Eberron, Ravenloft, 4e Core Setting, New Setting Implemented Well.

New setting: I just want to see something exotic. Arabian, Jungle, Polynesian/Eastern Pacific, New World Frontier/Native American. In essence, Not Medievan European Fantasy.

Why are there no 'cultural' settings on there?

Al-Quadim/Zakhara would be my number one pick, but honestly I'd prefer anything in the category of Oriental Adventures and Arabian Adventures even Maztica would be great.

Heck, a Testament style setting would be awesome. Albeit maybe too much of a hot potato for WotC.

Any Bronze Age would be nice.

I just want settings that give me a whole nother set of flavors to play with not simply a different recipe for the same meal.

I believe a new setting built from scratch that can showcase the systems strength is the best choice. It starts everything fresh, and carries with it no baggage or pre-conceived notion of how the setting has been "changed" to fit the 4E model.

If I had to pick a setting that I believe would fit 4E, I would say Barsaive or Cyradon. Both have a very strong "Point of Light" flavor to them

I voted for Eberron, Dark Sun, Planescape and Bithright. Eberron and Birthright because I have a PoL setting that incorporates themes from Amber and Dune. I think those whold be useful for me. When I say Dark Sun and Planescape, I don't mean those actual settings. I would like a Planescape style of exploration of the new multiverse. I would also like a Dark Sun magical post-apocalyptic setting for 4e.

I believe that Forgotten Realms covers Al-Qadim and Maztica.
Al-Qadim and Maztica are covered by the realms like the senile, imbred stepchild locked in the attic is considered a member of the family.

Dark*sun as presented in the first box set.

Mystara, though maybe not all the kingdom of the known world are needed. Also, the landmass should be FAR larger
