We have two games ongoing and one on hold (I'm talking about tabletop games only, not PbP...).

All core classes are being played except Barbarian, Bard and Wizard.

Almost all characters except one Fighter/Cleric are single-class (but a few of them have a prestige class on top).

No non-core class is being played at the moment.

I voted only for the newest game that I am playing in. Our party is composed of...

1) Tiefling Rogue
2) Elven Bard
3) Human Scout
4) Human Monk (who I forgot to include when I voted)

and a DM-controlled

5) Half-elf Barbarian

We've got a fighter/barbarian/ranger/psion/warmind, a marshall /w a cleric cohort, and my character, a psion (telepath).

The Longstriders - the group I DM

My group is 4 PCs who cover between them 5 classes
* human LN monk6 (actually is a frontline fighter, somehow)
* human N ranger5/cyrean avenger1 (the other frontline fighter)
* human ?? rogue3/cleric3 of the Traveller (going for divine trickster, healer and scout)
* changeling LN rogue1/illusionist5 (going for recaster).

yup - its eberron, and I think they fit the whole, swashbuckling - the person with the heaviest armour is the cleric/rogue (mithril shirt+1).

Current Party is:

Human Fighter/Rogue (evenly split)
Kobold Rogue/Psion (eventually going to add Elocator prestige class)
Human Shadowblade
Half-Orc Barbarian (probably going for eye of Gruumsh prestige class)
Human Cleric/Bard

We'll possibly be adding another member of indeterminate class association soon.

Hi-

In the Sunday Group I play in:

Elf Fighter (LG)
Dwarf Monk(LG)
Human Wizard (LG)
Human Sorcerer (LG)
Human Cleric of St Cuthbert (LG)
Halfling Rogue (CG)

Ya just about the whole group is Lawful Good.

Tuesday Age of Worms:
Human Druid LN
Human Wizard CG
Human Fighter NG
1/2 Elf Barbarian CG
Dwarf Cleric of Pelor CG

So the tuesday group is not as lawful as the Sunday group, but the Players are pretty cool and everybody gets along.

Very interesting results so far.

Cleric, Fighter, and Rogue are all top of the heap. Over 70%.

Bard, Paladin, and Monk all rank very low. Monk at 38%!! Again, very interesting.

A solid 60% of groups have classes outside the core group. Never would have guessed out-of-the-norm classes are so popular.

I voted for the classes in the campaign I DM which has a fighter, wizard, bard, barbarian, monk and artificer.

In the game I play in the classes are fighter, cleric, rogue, wizard.

Monks are out because they don't fit my campaign world.

Paladins are out because they are now a series of prestige classes, depending on what order you enter.

Rangers are in, but modified (Monte Cook's ranger, I think!)

That's all I've changed.

Currently in the game I'm playing, we have:

Rogue/Fighter (party leader)
Cleric of an Arab-type god
Paladin (elf paladin of Heironeous)
Barbarian / Ranger from the same arab-type land as the cleric
Warlock (my PC)

six followers of the Rogue / Fighter (did I mention she took the Leadership feat?) which annoy my warlock to no end.
