What Class fits this party?

Sounded ok, until i relized i dont want to be a support charecter. I want to be a wizard, or a fighter who acts as an archer.

I thought you were running this NPC to let the party do their thing. The party you describe already has a wizard and a fighter (though not ranged). All and all I pretty much agree with Wocky on all the points he made.

My suggestion is that if it's going to interfere with your enjoyment of the game, to play a Party aligned NPC that you wouldn't normally play as a player, then you might want to suggest that one or both of the players take Leadership. That way they can decide what they want their henchmen to be. Let them deal with it.

Oh, and multiclassing two classes isn't so much a problem if you're human. I'm a Human Rog3/Clr8 of Olidammara IMC and it works quite fine for me. (Though I've not been through those modules as of yet.)

I think I'm going to have them play 2 PCs each. I think that will be a good way to just let them have fun and do their own thing, without me accidently taking the spotlight. Thank yall for the advice.

If you have the Forgotten Realm Campaign Setting book, go for an Elf Cleric with the Elf domain. This gets you Point Blank Shot for free. So you can play a fighting archer type and be the party cleric too.

OTOH, your players will probably be better served if you have them play two characters since those modules work best with 4 (or more) characters and a beginning DM shouldn't play two NPCs in the party unless the players have multiple PCs.
