What class will be your first?

If I ever get a chance to play as a PC again, I'm going with a ranger two-blader. I'll have to do away with the nature fluff and make him more monkish.

For some reason, I want to see a firefly/BSG crossover (I bet you somebody would think River is a hybrid). There would be Cylons on one side and the Alliance on the other (or Reavers, or both.) And Starbuck and Mal would have a short romance. Then he'd get punched out by Apollo.

Considering that I will be running games for my group for quite a while after release (or I at least I hope so!), I think my first character will be a Psion or a Necromancer. Or a Bard. Most likely one of those three.

Flumph - that is to say DM, it currently looks like I will have to drag my group forward kicking and screaming.
If I get a chance to play fighter, or warlock, I like the idea of forced moving foes around.
I imagine I will have a much better idea of what is going on by the time I get a chance to play.

I chose wizard. I like all those flashy, powerful spells.
I would have chosen fighter also, just because I like the fact they get powers also, and I like to get up close and hit things with my characters.

I want to take a crack at warlord. However, the Storm Warden PP really grabbed me, so I may try a Warlord/Ranger multiclass to take a crack at it down the line.

There are a few concepts I'd like to try out, but the one I'm leaning towards most of all, at least for right now, is a Warlord.

First, I planned wizard, basically because it's one of my favourite classes. But between DDXP characters and previews, I'm totally going to play a fighter with a dash of warlord via class feats.

Totally want to try that defend and boost your allies in a non-cleric way!
