My gobins are green, my orcs are dark green and my gnolls are greenish grey (their skin, not their fur). :)

I have some old Heroquest goblin minis that I was thinking of painting some other color though, perhaps a sort of bruise purple.

My goblins (and other humanoids) are all different colors in game and on miniature. Humans come in a whole bunch of different colors, why not humanoids? Humanoids just come in a wider range of colors, many of which aren't typically see on humans and when it is a human like shade it is more extreme or somehow wrong.

I think I'm quite traditionalist and my goblins are always reddish-brown, while my orcs have a greenish tinge. If that's not what they're supposed to be in D&D, then I'm also traditionally wrong :heh:

I voted gray-green, as it's the closest to how I picture them being in my world, though the goblin minis that I use in the game are actually painted with GW's Snakebite Leather, a yellowish brown color.

From my Eberron game---this applies to goblins, hobgoblins, & bugbears:
General Goblinoid Physical Description:. Skin color can be yellow, red, white, gray, orange, brown or black. Hair can be yellow, red, white, gray, orange, brown or black. Their hands have four digits (3 fingers & a thumb) as does their feet. They have small noses. Their eyes are one color & can be white, green, red, black, or blue. Their ears have a point at the tip & on the lobe. Due to the Daelkyr, goblinoids facial features can run from nearly handsome to a true terror to behold.

The goblins of Eriador are short, wiry humanoids with skin that comes in a startling variety of colors, from burnt orange to emerald green to deep indigo. They reach heights of no more than three feet, and weigh around 40 pounds. Goblins have large, protruding pointed ears, and their noses are often long and hooked or flat and broad. Invariably, their teeth are small and sharp and their eyes beady, lending to their reputation for untrustworthiness.
I selected Other.

My Ral Patha paint only has one Human Flesh Color. It is a light shade of pinky cream.

Shame on Ral Partha then.

Reminds me of when I went to buy some paint and found one called "Maiden Flesh" - I could not help but wonder how the paint would know what the complexion of the maiden I was painting was supposed to be like to magically change as it was applied. :p

Roses are red, goblins are yellow,
And black as night are the nasty drow.
Roses are red, goblins are green,
But only in the Warhammer setting!

Shades of red, orange, and yellow. Granted the blinogo, or sea goblins, in my game were inspired by the goblin shark:

So skin hue is the least of their enemies troubles ;)
