Surpirisingly, my first thought was 'blue', so that's how I voted.

My second thought was 'hang on, surely red is the iconic dragon', but I decided to go with my first thought (after all, the OP did ask for what 'popped into my head').

You know, that's what I thought too, although I didn't think of the red until after I voted for the blue. It doesn't matter, I would have voted for the blue anyway.

I think a better question would be "Which is your favorite D&D dragon?"

Blue would also be my answer to that one.

I voted Red becuase the default D&D dragon is SO the red dragon. Although Blues have been my favorite since the red boxed set. It makes me weep that they look dumber in every edition.
