What color is your goblin?

I've always assumed the green guys were from Warhammer (GW's paint color "Goblin green" springs to mind :D ) which may -or may not- have been inspired by the Spider-Man villain.

Most of my golbin minis are GW/WH & green. I have a couple Chainmail goblin troopers I painted reddish-brown, though. In 3e, I explain it as "Cave Goblins" who are more clay colored and "Forest Goblins" which are greenish. Mostly I don't overcomplicate the issue because I don't wanna have to paint two sets of goblin minis! :p

PS- My orc minis are WH & greenskins too.

In my game, goblins are green or yellow-green.

I also have "Red Goblins" which are tougher and meaner, and gristly. (Expect to see them in "Ye Olde Schoole Module", for release sometime this year). Red goblins have rust-red or red-brown or brick red skin.

In my Oathbound campaign, I've renamed the Red Goblins "Moggs" from the Magic the Gathering games. These are taller than typical goblins, uglier, and meaner. But in game terms they are identical to my red goblins.

I've also got "Keepers" in my Oathbound game, who are bright red Moggs (who have fire immunity).

What color is my goblin?

That's a pretty private question there... :p

I also have always pictured my goblins to be dark greens - grey blacks.

But - Mr. Pozas assures me that lighter & brighter colors make for better counters! ... :p

Green Goblins = Spiderman and Warhammer.

Regdar's goblins are a bright viscious red with grey, due to their cleaved skulls....

green- regular
