What dice would you like to see made?

Soft, padded dice, that prefferably don't hurt a whole lot when thrown at induviduals trying to run a decent game  &%$&£!!

Hello Dispater! ;)

Oversized foam dice exist, d4 to d20. I suppose you could hurt someone with them if you hit them in the eye, but otherwise they're pretty harmless. They're made by Koplow.

Well, I'd like to see d10's that actually explode to be used as "exploding dice" in 7th Sea. :)

Some early snooker/billiards balls exploded when they were struck too hard. So I suppose you could have d10's made of the same material. But I doubt anyone would be nuts enough to sell them - imagine the lawsuits!

i personally would like to see a d17 one of these days. :)

You jest, but it's certainly possible to produce a fair die with 17 sides. A professor in Canada has made a machine that rolls dice and records the result. Using this machine, he has worked out what proportions prism-shaped dice have to be so that each end rolls as frequently as one of the adjoining faces. In fact a d5 is being produced based on his work. AFAIK it's as fair as an ordinary d6, d8 etc.

The edges rather than the faces of the die are numbered, so you don't have to pick up the die and check the bottom face to see what you've rolled. The end faces of the prism are, of course, exceptions. They're numbered in the middle of the face.

Another way of making a d17 would simply be a d34 numbered 1-17 twice. D34's exist, but no one has bothered to make a d17 from one.

A small d10 inside a clear d10 with flat sides inside for the small one to settle on. Therefore you could use that a d100.
