What did you do during the server upgrade?

Went slummin' over at RPGNet. ;)
Yeah, me too. At least on Friday. I'm not online much on Saturday or Sunday anyway, so Friday was really the only day it affected me.

Luckily, I had stuff I needed to do, and being free from the enworld distraction, I got a fair amount of it done. My Friday night game was also quite a bit better thanks to the increased time and attention. ;)

Argued with some people over at RPG.net about the 'critical failure' of WoTC not providing software and how it's forcing someone to leave the D&D game for a simplier game.
Hey, I was in that same argument! Cool! I haven't checked to see if I've left comments unanswered or not; quite frankly that discussion bored me after a while.

Then again, a lot of rpg.net discussions do. They can tend to get tedious.

Game was cancelled due to blizzard. Spent most of the time online, checking to see if Stoneybrook classes would start today(yes), checking MTA and LIRR sites to see how difficult it would be to get daughter back to class( said minor delays but 40 min trip to Atlantic Avenue took 3 hours{missed two trains} and LIRR took an extra hour). Only took two hours to get home from train station( I knew what lines were't running now). Read all the threads on the Knitters Review site that I usually skip.

I normally don't read ENWorld much on the weekends, like mrfilthyike. Most of my reading (like now) is done during the week. That said, Saturday I spent a good deal of time trying to locate a Playstation 2 in my area. Turns out, they're all sold out! So, that was frustrating. Who'd've thought that a system that old would still be selling out regularly? And I just saw some at Best Buy not 5 days ago. So, I ended up ordering one off circuitcity.com and laid down $10 extra dollars for 2-3 day shipping.

And while I surfed the net, I found a banner ad at wired.com for a free 14-day trial memebership to Eve Online. My best friend plays that, so I thought I'd make a character and harrass him in the game. So, I spent a bit of time playing that.

And I gamed. :)

I held up a convenience store and spent the loot on ale and whores.
I could party with this man. Yes I could.

I spent a bit more time than usual on the WotC boards and hoped that my PbP game would survive the server change-over.

Why played World of Warcraft instead :) Without ENWorld it was on less excuse not to play, so WoW won out.

And I worked :( I like the memory of World of Warcraft instead, but the overtime makes it less painful :)
