What Do You Call Followers of Nerull?

Don't slay me...but the game was fun for the first couple of books. We loved it as a one nighter once a month.

When all the upgrades came with the "new" books...well..we just used them as villans mostly.

At the time they had found a Robotech factory in Tennesee anyway....loads of fun...slighly over the edge.

I ALSO PLAY CHAMPIONS...so if your gonna flame me give me an hour to stat up a flame proof suit....hehe..

and old gamma world, origional traveller, arcanum, etc.

You don;t call followers of Thor...Thorians do you? Some names work and some don't. My followers of Orcus are the Temple of the Wand......call the Nerull worshippers Society of the Sycthe or something.

And some gods have more trouble with this than others. Met any Fharlanghnites or Corellon-Larethianans lately? (Try saying that three times fast.)

While it may be simplest to derive a religion-name from a god-name, it doesn't always work that way. Christians, for example, are technically supposed to be worshipping God, not Christ per se. Buddhists strive to follow Buddha's teachings but do not consider him a god. Muslims follow Islam and worship Allah. Shinto is the name of a religion but not the name of any particular god within that religion.

Okay, thanks - I was just curious if there was some pre-existing name that was "standard" for the followers of Nerull. No biggie that there apparently isn't. Some pretty cool ideas you came up with, though!
