Our group usually breaks after the D&D, because the host and his family have dinner, and most of us have other obligations. Sometimes we might stay and schmooze about gaming or related topics for an hour or so, but that's rarer.
In the old days (about 2 or 3 years ago), we used to meet for about 9 hours - we'd play from 3 to 6pm, then break for dinner, eat and chat with the whole group (families and all) from about 6 to 8pm, then play from 8 till about 12 midnight. I miss those old sessions once in a while, though I'm pretty sure that my wife doesn't.

The one thing that you need to remember is that I am still 16, so that means that we don't really need to breach up the game until aboute 2 am. We usualy put together an overnight gamming session, play until 2 am, sleep, and then play again at 8. I love this life.

Find a copy of Talisman, 2nd edition. And bring beer. Lots of beer.

Because most of the games I play in are late night, I just go home after the game.
Best bet is to find two board games as most I've seen only go up to six.
Movies are a good bet.
An all night eatery is another good one. Nothing like bugging other people at 2:00 AM or so. Usually you get to see a lot of drunks trying to 'sober up'. (Been there, done that.)
Anarchorism is a fast paced card game for 2 people but it's only 5 minutes so you could swap out every few games for someone else's enjoyment. Non-collectible, but collectible in that it has like 16 expansions so far. Good stuff but a little pricey.
Card games, like Poker or Crazy 8s, Blackjack, etc..., can be played with a large number of people.
Heck, get some paints and do a paint day. It's always cool to test your skills against other painters. Do some speed painting or all paint the same figure and see what shakes and what works.

Usually, people have things they needed to do an hour ago, so they hurriedly pack up and rush off, I forget to calculate xp, and then whoever isn't busy stays behind and watches Saturday night anime. This weekend we saw the Guide at the movies, though.
