What do you look for in a Publisher's website?

We're doing a bit of a redesign to both of our websites, violetdawn.com and icirclegames.com and I'm curious what you all visit other Publishers websites for. Since all of the news is conveniently located on EN World, do you look for downloads, backgrounds, previews, etc. What drives you to a publishers website? What type of information would you like to see?

Details

When I go to a publisher's website I have usually heard of a product, maybe even read a blurb or press release and followed a link. What I'm looking for are details. An expansion upon what I heard or read elsewhere. If all I find is the same press release and nothing extra or new, I leave disappointed and my opinion of both the publisher and the product is likely to drop a little.

All current products offered (with picture and description)

Products coming in the next 3-6 months (with picture and description).

Web enhancements/errata of existing products.

A link to the company's message boards, if any.

Contact information if I have a question about a product.

That is all. :)

Frequent updates.

To keep people coming to a website you need to be keep providing new content, whether is new errata, web enhancements, previews, etc.

Post news frequently... if its been a month and the front page of a website hasn't changed, there is no reason to keep visiting it.

Exactly! These are usually the stuff I'm looking for, too. It's hard to believe that some sites don't even have a product list.

Makes sense. Do you prefer your updates once a month with something that is fairly substantial, or would you prefer smaller updates once a week? Also, when you first visit a publishers website do you give it a thorough browsing if it looks interesting, or do you just check give it the quick breeze and click on whatever is interesting from the front page? Lastly, which publisher's website is your favorite and why?

Edit: Hmmm. . . for some reason my signature isn't showing. . .
