Hes the 2nd born son of a local minor lord. As the 2nd born son hes not going to inherant his fathers title and lands. As such hes looking for focus in his life. He found that focus is his study of swordsman ship. Using a sword passed down his family, given to him by his father, he looks to travel the world, adventuring and mastering his craft.

Also, cleave is much more useful at low levels than high, because you will be dropping more foes with one hit, and thus getting more extra attacks from the feat.

I'd move weapon focus to third and mobility to second to get PA and Cleave at 1st.

Just a personal preference though. Other than the Spring Attack problem, the character looks fun to play, which is all that really matters. :)

I agree

But at the same time it just depends what you going for, the 2 handed, High str, with breast plate (dont know how you could afford it) char sounds a little more cleave and cut things in half. spring attack isnt very effective at lower levels because you can only move 10 feet away and 10 feet back, most things only have one attack any way so they will easly be able to move and hit you, lastly by the time things do start getting multiple attacks you will have spring attack.

I'd rather take Combat Expertise now instead of Spring attack. Spring Attack and Whirlwind later. Power Critical sounds nice for that character, he looks to be a crit twink later.

Otherwise: I'd pick Power Attack and Cleave earlier as well... if at all. (Power Attack: take it always, but Cleave is not absolutely necessary.)

Disagreeing with James, I would keep Weapon Focus at first level...

Can you change him still? It sounds like you already have him like that at 2nd level. If you can change him, I'd pick WF, Power Attack and Cleave at first, Dodge at second level... Mobility at 3rd, Weapon Spec at fourth, Spring attack and stuff at 6th... Hmm, perhaps Whirlwind there, if you drop WS a little bit...

I haven't started using him yet, We're starting at level 2 as one character is using a Gensai Sorcerer, a ECL+1 character. I forgot about Spring attacks BAB +4 requirement. let me fine tune him. As for the Breastplate, yeah i think my DM was being generous, who am i to say no ;).
