No rules for dragon PCs, or running a dragon-oriented campaign?

None whatsoever. 4E seems pretty focused on only allowing humanoid creatures as PCs, and Draconomicon showed no signs of changing that.

I'd assume based on your descriptions the Faerie dragon descends from the Purple Dragon. Accurate?

The entry in the Draconomicon stated that the Faerie Dragon had no clear ancestry, and leaves it at that.

IIRC, Faerie dragons are small. I actually didn't read the fluff on them, but they're probably more closely related to pseudodragons.

Mirage dragons (another Feywild dragon) are specifically mentioned as descendants of Green dragons who lived in the Feywild.

How's the Gray? Is he sick? Does he sneeze ooze and vomit phlegm? Or is he more majestic than that?
Grey isn't majestic. The fluff isn't; they're rapacious hunters, to the point some become mercenaries to hunt down specific targets.

They also have a terror aura, and are spiked all over. I believe there's an ability in the back you can replace their breath weapon with. The Purple dragon can also lose its bite in exchange for some sort of psychic hammer (I was unsatisfied with the amount and levels of the alternative abilities).

There is one ability that (I believe) the Death Mask dragon has which is sexy. The power hits a PC, and when the PC attacks the dragon, the PC also takes half damage he deals to the dragon.

There is a mention of Dragon-centered campaigns. It's in the ToC; I didn't read it, but the subheading dealt with Famous dragons, and Famous Dragonslayers.

So... Whats the gray dragon's breath weapon? What's its environment?

Badlands, Scrubland, dry prairies, and other clear terrain are their favored territory, and they lair in nearby mountians with a clear view of the terrain they overlook.

Breath Weapon is a caustic ooze(acid) that pushes and deals ongoing damage. They also have a petrification attack.

I've been told Cyan Bloodbane was genericized to a great degree, with his Dragonlance-elements stripped away. Is this true? Are there any other Krynnish dragons mentioned in the book?

Cheers,
Cam

I'm not familiar with Cyan outside of the original modules, so I really can't answer this. Albino, Ember, Khisanth, and Malystryx are mentioned and given short descriptions in the Famous Dragons section.

Wait, no more of this half-dragon / dragonborn "alliance with Dragons" stuff - we're back to slaying Dragons!

I like that. I never ran a campaign that focused much on the goal of hunting down Dragons!
