Well, I think orcs and kobolds rock (trademark racial mechanics kick ass!), while I found hill giants somewhat ho-hum (1d10+5 damage for level 13 giant brute?).

Orcs, definitely. Particularly the Eye of Gruumsh.

The epic-tier monsters have made for interesting reading, but I doubt I will ever use them.

I'm not in a mindset to deal with Angels and Devils as NPCs just yet.

I'll stick with Orcs and Giants for now.

[sblock=KotS Spoiler]The Blue Ooze from KotS looks like fun too!![/sblock]

I said "all suck", but what I really meant is "I've been paying way more attention to the character building stuff but wanted to vote." Either that or "I want to see how to build PC-race NPC threats."

The Succubus, the Malebranche War Devil, and the orcs.

These guys look interesting and sufficiently nasty, different, and fun. The rest is rather ho-hum. And the pit fiend: Well, he's old and closer to the DDM stats than he should be. I'll wait for the MM to form an opinion about that guy.

Cheers, LT.

okay the Phane, swordwing and angel of Valor seem to be clear losers so far.
the phane&swordwing I understand but why the angle of valor? I don't remember much hate from the angels exerpt thread.

only three for my ignore list, although it would have been easier if I had made the repondents visiable. :)

Edit: and which Orc would make the best pie guard?

All of them, and the orcs twice each. The giants seem the worst but I'll still use them.

The best orc for pie guard would be the Raider to my mind, he can use his throwing axes to ward the party off. Plus 16 drudges to make up the rest of the encounter.

The Angel of Valor just looked less cool to me than the Angel of Vengeance.

The Orc Warrior - and if he successfully eats the Pie he transforms into an Orc Bloodrager.
