What does 25 Wisdom get you?

Now *that's* what I'm talkin' about! Mind Blank huh? That is pretty damn cool. I forgot about earlier editions... yeah, wisdom did the same thing in 2e... there was a big list of things you were immune to.

Now how to spin it so my DM doesn't just dismiss it out of hand....

In 1E, Wis in the 20s granted immunity to assorted mind-affecting spells. I'd need to check my Legends and Lore, but it was something like the Charm spells at 21, Suggestion at 22, Dominates at 23... that sort of thing.

I haven't played anything at Epic levels, so I don't know if an Epic feat with a 25 Wis prereq granting a Mind Blank effect would be considered balanced or not...

Yes, but....25 was the max official stat you could have in those days and it took 10 wishes to raise an ability one point above an 18. I'm thinking a permanent 8th-level spell for having a 25 Wisdom might be a bit on the strong side.

Maybe some thing similar to the epic roguish feats that exchange Fort/Will saves for Reflex saves. Basically makes it so you won't fail a save.

Of course, you can't take epic level feats until you are level 21 and since your character is only level 2...you are really hurting.

I'm in the same campaign that The Souljourner is talking about. It's very high powered. Stat increases every 2 levels and "legendary" feats at first and I think every 4 levels (1, 4, 8, ..).

Legendary feats are a subset of epic feats and other home brew feats.

Something you might consider for a custom Epic feat is the Mettle ability. It is essentially Evasion for Fort and Will saves. On a successful Fort or Will save against an effect with a partial effect, you ignore the partial effect. The Templar PRC from DotF and, I believe, the Hexblade class from CW both recieve Mettle as a class ability. Several Epic feats simply duplicate class abilities, so there is something of a precedent.

Another possibility would be Slippery Mind.

You might also consider an ability akin to the Travel Domain ability that applies to mind-affecting effects rather than movement-impeding effects.
