what does a CLW potion taste like in your world?

Most of the time IMC potions of the cure kind are white with a blue tint. Deeper blue for more potent potion, and they generally smell and taste of peppermint.

Reading over this thread though has given me the idea of having potions taste horrid and requiring a fort save to even get it past the tongue. ;)

IMC, cure potions are light yellowish green. Like highlighter green, or the green of lifebars in video games, or green glowsticks. glowsticks is probably the most accurate. They also glow, ever so faintly, and taste like kool-aide

Cure Potions IMC are green. The darker the green, the more potent (or less dilluted) the potion, so a potion of CCW is nearly black.

They taste like mint. The more potent the potion, the more strong is the taste (again, CCW can bring tears to the eye at wasabi-levels).

Ditto, almost to the letter. Funky! :uhoh:

I got my dungeon magazine in today, and it has tables for how to determine what potions look and taste like. I found it to be a weird coincidence, and that's all I have to say about that.

NyQuil green death flavor!

If I'm feeling particularly generous I'll throw in a NyQuil red death flavor.

Who said healing potions are supposed to taste good?

Well no one but...if you want people to drink more of them than rely on clerics, well there you are! ;)

Is this the most recent Dungeon ie 125?
